Andy Marcus Elected President of IPC

International Photographic Council’s Founder and Chairman James L Chung passed away in June 2022. For many years James worked with Andy on developing new projects with the Professional Photographers’ Associations and it was a natural choice for Andy to move forward as IPC’s new President.

As past Vice President of the IPC and president of Fred Marcus Studios, Mr. Marcus has over 50 years of experience in the business of photographing weddings, establishing a clientele comprised of the most prominent families and business leaders in the country.

Andy is a Sigma Pro, one of ProFotos World`s Top Photographers, Lexar Elite Photographer and former Canon Explorer of Light. He speaks nationally and internationally on a variety of subjects related to the wedding and portrait photography space.

Andy has received a Master of Photography and Craftsmen Photographer degrees form the

Professional Photographer’s of America.

He is an accomplished author, writing “Wedding Photojournalism – Techniques and Images in Black and White” and has been profiled by Lifetime Television on “Disney Fairytale Weddings”.
